ELA:
Reading increasingly complex texts, identifying main ideas and supporting details, and writing detailed essays become central.
Math:
Fraction operations, volume concepts, decimals, and graph/data interpretation are emphasized.
Science:
Fifth graders cover earth/space, ecosystems, forces, and energy, using evidence to draw conclusions.
Social Studies:
Students learn broader US history, including early civilizations and citizenship principles.
Religion:
Strengthening students’ understanding of the family as part of the Church by exploring human dignity, relationships, community responsibility, and moral choices, and helping them apply faith, respect, and stewardship in their daily lives.
