Fourth Grade

ELA:

• Students analyze texts more critically, compare themes, and write for different purposes (informative, opinion). Vocabulary and discussion skills broaden.

Math:

• Multi-digit multiplication, division, equivalent fractions, and basic decimal understanding are key.

Science:

• Focus expands to matter, forms of energy, Earth/space systems, and structured experiments.

Social Studies:

• A deeper look into Florida’s geography, government, and history as well as comparisons with US history themes.

Religion:

• Encouraging students to grow in conscience and moral responsibility by understanding human dignity, free will, and Christian values, and by living out love of God and neighbor through respect, service, and care for all life.
