Early Childhood
(3- and 4-year-olds)
ELA:
Children practice listening, build vocabulary, recognize some letters/sounds, and begin expressing ideas with words and early writing attempts (drawing or scribbling). They engage in conversations, listen to stories, and begin to understand that print carries meaning.
Math:
Young learners explore counting, number concepts, shapes, patterns, comparisons (more/less), and measurement using hands-on activities. They learn to talk about quantity and use math language through play.
Science:
Experiences focus on observation, exploration of natural phenomena (plants, weather, simple experiments), and asking questions about the world.
Social Studies:
Children learn about self, family, community helpers, rules, sharing, and routines β understanding their place in social environments.
