Welcome to our new Extended Center for Learning! We acknowledge your concerns as working parents/guardians who want to find the best after school care for your child. We also recognize and understand the need of our students to socialize and relax after a long day at school. ExCeL was created with our families in mind to be the best of both worlds! Extended Center for Learning offers supervised homework time so families can enjoy the end of the day after pick up plus fun learning activities to help students relax and play in a God-centered environment. Our program will serve as reinforcement of the overall development of each student while supporting the mission of Holy Redeemer Catholic School.
Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that extends beyond the regular school day. The ExCeL staff will provide each child with learning opportunities that promote confidence, self- pride and a sincere awareness and respect for others.
ExCeL Registration Fee
Registration is $25.00 per child annually. The registration fee must accompany the completed Registration Packet and must be received on or before the first day the student is registered into the program. This fee is non-refundable. It is important that all registration information be kept current in case of an emergency.
EXCEL Registered Student Rates
Daily Rate
$10 per day, per student for registered students.
Weekly Rate
1 student – $45.00 per week
2 students or more - $35.00/week per student
Non-Registered Student Rates
Students not picked up by 3:30 pm will be signed in and there will be a charge of $10.00 per student. On the second occurrence, the $25 registration fee will be automatically billed by FACTS. This rate is intended to ensure and encourage families to register, and provide information designed to allow greater accountability for safeguarding each child.
Payment of Fees
FACTS is a management company used by Holy Redeemer Catholic School for collection of tuition and other fees. All parents are required by the Diocese to utilize this service. This serves as a convenience for families. ExCeL fees will be automatically deducted through FACTS. ExCeL will adhere to the same FACTS guidelines as set forth in the Holy Redeemer Parent-Student Handbook.

ExCeL Program Registration
Summer “Knights” Camp
Summer “Knights” Camp 2024 will be offered from June 3rd until July 26th. Our programs are designed for children entering grades Pre-K4 through 8th. We will have three themed weeks of fun. Students will enjoy a variety of activities designed to educate the mind, invigorate the body, and expand their hearts. Summer campers will have the opportunity to build their social skills in a safe and familiar environment.

Themes Offered
KNIGHTS TEAM SPORTS
“Knights Team Sports” week gives students an opportunity to play various sports. The daily schedule incorporates popular team sports including soccer, basketball flag football, volleyball, and obstacle courses. Your students will have the chance to enjoy a rotating schedule of all of these class offerings during the entire week with children their own age.

FLORIDA FUN
“Florida Fun” week gives your students an opportunity to bring the beach to Kissimmee! The students will get to enjoy numerous outdoor activities including water slide days. During “Florida Fun” week the students will also enjoy indoor activities including movie days, tech days, and more! All students need to bring sunscreen on each designated Water Days!
Week #1: June 3-7
Week #4: June 24-28
Week #6: July 15-19
ENRICHMENT AND ACADEMICS/ VBS
“Enrichment and Academics” weeks allow students to participate in a number of specialized classes and STEM experiences. Your students will also enjoy classes including Arts and Crafts, Robotics, Science, Coding, Reading/Novel Studies, and Math! Bring your imagination as you learn about exciting topics and strive to broaden your horizons.
Week #2: June 10-14
Week #5: July 8-12 (VBS 9am-12pm)
SEA-VENTURE/ZOO-TASTIC/WEIRD SCIENCE
These pre-K4 specific themes will allow students to work with hands-on project. Students will learn through discovery while being engaged in experiments that encourage them to explore the many wonders of science.
